At just 12 years old, Avril completed her first full-length novel — a 260-page mystery story inspired by her experiences, including a trip to the United Kingdom and the powerful emotions she felt watching The Phantom of the Opera.

What started as a single story soon became something more.

Readers wanted more.
The story expanded.
And the Laura Taylor series was born.

Behind the scenes, Avril’s journey is also a story of family, support, and collaboration. Her sister became her editor and creative partner, helping shape ideas and refine her writing — turning storytelling into something they built together.
